1. The short version

Liberonym currently uses only strictly necessary storage. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, ad networks, data brokers or profiling for advertising. Browsing the public site and running an evaluation does not set analytics or marketing cookies.

2. Strictly necessary storage

These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off from within the Service, because without them it cannot work.

• Authentication and session. Keeps you signed in and keeps your session secure. Set only when you sign in.
• Evaluation state. Holds the evaluation you are currently running in your browser, so a page refresh does not lose your progress. Cleared when you sign out.
• Security and abuse prevention. Includes bot and abuse protection challenges used to protect the Service from automated misuse.
• Preferences. Remembers choices you make, including the privacy preferences on this page.

3. Optional analytics

Liberonym may, in future, use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used and where it fails people. Any such analytics are optional, are off unless you turn them on, and are never used for advertising or sold to anyone. Your choice below is stored on your device and applied before any optional measurement can run.

4. What Liberonym does not do

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross-site or cross-device tracking.
• No sale of personal information, and no sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• No profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Third parties

Some storage is set by infrastructure and security providers acting on Liberonym’s instructions to deliver, host and protect the Service. Brand typefaces are served from Liberonym’s own origin, so ordinary page loads do not make requests to third-party font services. See the Privacy Policy for the categories of providers involved.

6. Managing your choices

You can change your preferences at any time below, or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing strictly necessary storage will sign you out and may discard an evaluation that has not been saved.
